Facilities

The Woods Academy is situated on a six acre, park-like campus with large playing fields for soccer, lacrosse, and baseball as well as basketball and tennis courts. In addition to these athletic facilities, there are several spacious outdoor playgrounds and a courtyard and garden surrounded by the school building.

Our state-of-the-art Student Activities Center houses a regulation size gymnasium worthy of our Mighty Owls. The Center contains a stage fully outfitted for theatrical and musical performances, as well as a music studio to further enhance the fine arts program.

Mass and worship services are celebrated in our beautiful chapel.

Our library is the hub of school life. Housing over 15,000 books and decorated with medieval murals, our library invites students to  cultivate a love of reading. Students visit each week for read alouds, Library Theater and research. The library program helps promote academic achievement and lifelong reading habits.

The Woods Academy has a state-of-the-art computer lab. The Rudnicki Lab, equipped with 34 student workstations and four computers for video editing, is a tremendous resource for curricular integration, research, and graphic arts projects.
