Parents
At The Woods Academy, community means students, teachers, parents and grandparents caring for one another and working together to ensure that our students thrive academically, emotionally and spiritually.
Parents entrust us with their most sacred possession: their children. We take that responsibility seriously and believe parent involvement and volunteerism is critical to a student's academic and personal success.
Woods Academy Parent Teacher Organization
The Woods Academy Parent Teacher Organization (WAPTO) promotes a cohesive school community in support of the school's mission. We aim to foster communication and relationships throughout the parent, student, and faculty and staff body. All parents and guardians of enrolled students and faculty and staff are members of WAPTO.
WAPTO's programs and activities are designed to provide a welcoming environment that builds our school community. Through the active involvement of our parent community, we are able to enrich and support families' experiences at The Woods Academy. Please consider how your skills, interests and schedule enable you to contribute to enhancing your child's experience at The Woods Academy. For more information, please attend a WAPTO meeting or email Colette Thibodeau, WAPTO President, or Mary Beth Gaul, WAPTO Volunteer Coordinator.
