Welcome to The Woods Academy!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to The Woods Academy, a PK to Grade 8 Catholic community that nurtures the whole child through academic excellence, spiritual enrichment, and character development. Our program begins in our Montessori classrooms for children three years-old through Kindergarten. The principles that guide our Montessori program, such as independence, social responsibility, curiosity, spirituality, and academic growth are evident throughout our school. Our goal is to empower our students to become compassionate, confident leaders.

We believe that all students have the potential to achieve academic excellence and are committed to providing them with an excellent academic program and supportive environment in which they need to succeed. We provide a variety of extracurricular activities for students as a way to enrich their learning experiences. 

We also believe that character development is essential for students to become well-rounded individuals who are prepared to make a positive impact on the world around them. Our size provides students the opportunity to make authentic connections with peers and teachers, and allows them to find their own unique strengths in which they can use to thrive and grow.

Our school community gives students opportunities to learn about and practice the Catholic faith, while celebrating and welcoming all faiths. We strive to help foster students’ spirituality and develop a sense of social responsibility. We believe that service to others is an essential part of a Catholic education. Our students are encouraged to serve their school, their community, and the world through a variety of service projects.

It is difficult to capture in words the feeling that being at The Woods brings. The best way to see the caring community that is The Woods is to come spend time with us.
