The Woods is happy to announce a number of teacher-led summer camps that will take place on campus beginning right after school ends in June. The Woods offers a variety of camps for students of all ages. Camps take place during the summer months of June, July and August. Each camp offers a different menu of activities including art, sports, robotics, and much more.

Additional Camps at The Woods

The following activities are held at The Woods Academy, but operate independent of The Woods Academy Business Office.
Koa Sports 
Koa Sports Multi-Sport Summer Camp is proud to be at The Woods Academy again for the summer of 2017! Offering eight different one-week sessions - June 19 - August 18, 2017 - our camp provides a safe, fun atmosphere for campers from Pre-K through 6th grade. Camps are staffed by KOA coaches and instructors, many of whom are former high level collegiate and professional athletes. Staff are background checked and licensed by the State of Maryland.

Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG)
SIG Day programs are 3-week academic summer camps for gifted and talented students ages 5-12. The program combines captivating courses with social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for a truly engaging summer. SIG offers a wide variety of courses in Humanities, Math, Science, Technology, Multi-Disciplinary, Visual, and Performing Arts, and Fitness and recreation.
