Meet Your Campaign Co-Chairs

In 2006, the Board of Trustees, in conjunction with the school administration, approved a Strategic Plan entitled “Continuing to Build on a Tradition of Excellence.”  The Strategic Plan lays out a roadmap for future success as we continue to grow and mature as an institution. It is built upon the principles and ideals that have made The Woods Academy what it is today.

This Plan will enable The Woods to continue fulfilling every aspect of its mission, strengthening its position in an increasingly competitive private school market. It will enhance the school’s ability to attract qualified students, assure its facilities and staff can grow consistently with the anticipated growth in student population, and allow The Woods to continue to thrive in the 21st Century.

Recognizing that these goals cannot be accomplished within Woods’ present resources, the Board authorized, at its May 2008 meeting, a Capital Campaign aptly described as “Ever Forward.”  This Campaign will enable the Strategic Plan and provide for capital improvements and a meaningful uplift to our modest endowment for faculty and scholarship funds.  This growth in our endowment will strengthen our financial base, help attract and retain the best faculty, and enrich our programs.

Success can only be achieved with the support of the entire Woods’ family and community.  It’s hard to imagine a more powerful team than this.  For the sake of our children, grandchildren, and future generations, please respond generously to our request for your help in moving The Woods Academy EVER FORWARD.
