Teaching art remotely is no easy task. You have to take it one day at a time, one piece at a time. At the beginning of the year, I started a project with my 8th-grade class where they had no idea what the end product would be. We took it one piece at a time. They did such a great job and I was so impressed with the way they understood the content through distance learning!
The assignment was to create a portrait of Kobe Bryant. With each portion of the face, they were introduced to a new medium - Marker, WaterColor, Drawing Pencils, and Colored Pencils.

The students had no idea that they were drawing Kobe until we got to the third section of the face.
