During the four weeks before Spring Break, students from Montessori Preschool all the way to Grade 8 are engaged in a Volleyball Unit.
Volleyball is a game that tens of millions of people play at a recreational level to meet new friends. Volleyball requires cooperation, character, and effort. It is an important game to understand and be comfortable playing no matter your skill level. And, hopefully, a game that encourages fun and being active.
The younger students will be introduced to basic volleyball skills.
The older students will be reintroduced to these skills and some will even master them.
The Lower School will be playing one of their favorite games, Prisoner Ball.
The Upper School students will be playing volleyball matches and an occasional game of Prisoner Ball.
