Anansi got himself into a bit of a situation. Anansi’s son saw what happened to him. He called out to his brothers for help. Anansi six sons had special gifts that helped Anansi out of a sticky situation, but unfortunately it landed him into another one. Anansi is a West African fable that originates for the Asante people of Ghana. The fables are passed down over the generations. Anansi is also known throughout West African and is popular in the Caribbean due to the Atlantic slave trade.
