We are delighted that you are considering The Woods Academy for your child.

Please browse through the information below for details on the application process for each grade. Applying is easy using our Online Application. Families are required to create an account, and a non-refundable fee of $100 must be submitted with each application.

If you are not ready to apply just yet, simply complete our inquiry form and a member of our admissions team will contact you to see if they can assist with any questions you may have.

The best way to get to know The Woods is by visiting the school. Learn about opportunities to take a private tour, attend an online informational session, or come to an in-person open house.

Application Requirements by Level

Families must submit an Online Application Form and appropriate supplementary materials to be considered for admission. All materials must be received by the Admissions Office by February 14.

Montessori Preschool - Three or Four Year Old

The Character Skills Snapshot

The Woods Academy is more than just a place where your child will learn math and English and science. Certainly the reason you're seeking to enroll your child here is because you're interested in an education that focuses on instilling character values and encouraging personal growth. Similarly, we know that your child is much more than grades and test scores. That's why we're asking your child to take The Character Skills Snapshot as part of his/her application. It will give us richer information about your child, and show us areas where our community can help him/her grow, thrive, and shine.

All applicants to The Woods Academy are required to take The Character Skills Snapshot. For students who take the SSAT, there is no charge to take The Snapshot. Once you register for an SSAT, you will have access to The Snapshot. You will receive a link via email that your child can use to access and take The Snapshot at home.

Students planning to take the ISEE must contact The Woods Academy admission office in order to gain access to The Snapshot. There is a $25 fee for ISEE test takers.
