Before & After School Program

The goal of The Woods Academy is to offer a cohesive, enriching (before and) after school experience for all of our students in age-appropriate settings that are designed to specifically meet their needs. The quality options described in more detail below provide our families with potential coverage Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM.

After Care

After Care provides our Montessori families an after school option that is an extension of the Montessori classroom. After Care is offered from 2:45 - 6:00 PM daily. Snacks will be provided for students.

Study Hall

Lower School Study Hall provides students in grades one through four a structured after-school study program as well as time for enrichment activities and peer socialization. Study Hall is available for lower school students Monday through Friday, 3:00 - 6:00 PM in the library. Students should bring their own snack and drink.

Upper School Study Hall provides students in grades five through eight a supervised environment in which to manage their studies, seek homework assistance, and socialize with peers. Study Hall is available Monday through Friday, 3:15 - 6:00 PM in Rooms 400, 401, 402 and 403. Students should bring their own snack and drink. Students will go to the library from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

Activities

After School Activities allow students to explore interests outside the standard academic opportunities of the school day. There are a variety of activities available to students in all grade levels. These activities take place after school one day per week. Each session - fall, winter, spring - offers a different menu of activities. A separate fee is charged.
