Recieving news about my students that I've taught almost 15 years ago. They have graduated from high school and they are in college or off to college. They still remember me!!

Creating the Paris trip as a part of the 8th grade curriculum and starting the Owl/7th grade French class.

My greatest achievement as a teacher is helping students who were once struggling to understand the material, gain confidence, and excel academically. Having students come back years later and say that I was the one who taught them to write is an amazing feeling.

My family is full of teachers and my grandmother was a school librarian for 30 years.

5th and 6th grade science classes are always very exciting. From programming robots and building bridges to creating Rube Goldberg machines and making s'mores in solar ovens, there is a lot going on every day.

Making kids laugh and the honesty and funny things kids say and do everyday.
