The Woods Academy STEAM curriculum adds the Arts to the STEM equation.

The need for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education is critical as we move into an increasingly high-tech society. However, we believe that students can be even more successful in our changing world if they also engage in arts-related activities, to improve their skills in areas like communication and expression.

By adding Arts, we transform STEM seamlessly into STEAM.

Our STEAM program values the process of learning just as much as it values the outcomes. We drive our students to be creative and try multiple options, to listen to and consider alternatives, and to accept that their answer may not be the right one. Most importantly, they develop an ingenuity that goes far outside the classroom and allows them to be more successful in real life.
