With our Bretton Woods Overnight on the horizon, there is a mandatory information session for students and parents (at least one parent) on Wednesday, September 16th, from 8:30-9:00 AM in the MPR.

We started off our fall sports season with soccer tryouts this week, congrats to all who came out! The weather didn't fully cooperate so our boys coaches will use next week’s soccer practices as an extended tryout/evaluation. Team splits should be made by the end of next week. An email will be sent out to players and parents to notify them of their team placement and game schedules late next week or by Monday, Sept. 14th. Keep in mind, the majority of Woods sports games are on the team’s practice days.

As leaders of our school community, Grade 8 students participate in Service to School at least once each week. Students may serve as morning greeters, assist with announcements and the Birthday Board, support Advancement projects, or help plan Chapel services and Prayer Partner activities.

Students recently completed a survey to help determine their assignments, and Service to School begins Tuesday, September 8. Grade 8 families should review their student’s initial assignment and arrival time and contact Mrs. Shoemaker as soon as possible if a reassignment is needed.
