Building Faith and Hope Together

Building Faith and Hope Together

We will strive for Chapel Time to be a peaceful time for prayer, reflection, and character building. These past few weeks have been an introduction to the routines in Chapel. Students and teachers with help from Fr. Danny Morrison of Little Flower and Fr. David Spillane, LC, we gathered in front of the Blessed Sacrament in Our Chapel of the Little Flower to practice our faith as a community. We prayed the rosary, had an opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration, and learned about St. Jude and the Theological Virtue of Hope.

This month of December we learned of the beautiful life of St. Jude and his message to always have HOPE because nothing is impossible with God. Exhibiting the virtue of hope means to Have Only Positive Expectations. If we offer our troubles, concerns, problems up to our Heavenly Father, he will always answer our prayers for help.

Thank you to our 7th grade for serving as Liturgical Ministers for the Immaculate Conception Mass. They read from Sacred scripture and our Petitions for the Mass as well as presented the offertory gifts to the altar. This included trees decorated with ornaments with the names of a person they offered for the Mass.
