March: In Like a Lion, Out Like Young Scientists

March: In Like a Lion, Out Like Young Scientists

March was a month filled with luck and learning!

We explored the changing weather patterns that make March so unique. We discussed the old saying, "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb," and observed firsthand how the month brought more "lion" days than "lamb" days. The students loved tracking the weather and making predictions about what each new day would bring!

As the month drew to a close, our young scientists took part in a colorful and exciting Skittles rainbow experiment. Using warm water, they observed how the candy coating dissolved and spread into a vibrant display of colors. The students made predictions, conducted experiments, and recorded their observations. They were amazed to see how the colors separated and blended, creating a mesmerizing effect.

March was truly a month of discovery, creativity, and hands-on learning, and we can’t wait to see what exciting adventures April will bring!
