Our Peaceful Time at Chapel

Our Peaceful Time at Chapel

We will strive for Chapel Time to be a peaceful time for prayer, reflection, and character building. These past few weeks have been an introduction to the routines in Chapel. Students and teachers with help from local clergy will gather once a week in front of the Blessed Sacrament in Our Chapel of the Little Flower to practice our faith as a community. Weekly, we will pray the rosary, have an opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration, learn about Saints and Virtues, and learn about various Holy Days from our Catholic faith and many different faiths which we are blessed to have in our community.

This month of October we learned of the beautiful life of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, our chapel’s patron saint, and her message of doing everyday little things out of love is like planting a flower for God. The Theological Virtue which accompanied the lesson on St. Therese is Charity (love). If we all strive to do little charitable things out of love for others, what a beautiful garden we can grow here on Earth.
