Squeezing Learning Into Action! 🍋

Last month, we hosted our Lemonade Stand—the culminating event of our Project-Based Learning (PBL) unit! Over the past eight weeks, students have worked hard researching and writing essays, hearing from guest speakers about charitable organizations and running a business, creating posters to promote our schoolwide stand, and recording short videos to educate the school community about the charities we’re supporting. They proudly presented their findings to parents and successfully ran the lemonade stand themselves! We are thrilled to donate the proceeds to The McKenna Center, MCASAC, and Best Buddies!
