Our students’ foundation in technology includes understanding how it works and how to use it to change lives. Our technology supports innovative learning at all ages – from interactive whiteboard projectors in all classrooms, to iPad learning stations in our Montessori Preschool, and one-to-one student devices in Grades 1 through 8.
This summer I received an M.S. in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.
One of my most memorable adventures this summer was the week I spent teaching Mini-Movers Dance Camp here at The Woods.
The trend today is to have our young children specialize in a single sport, work with specialty trainers, play on multiple travel teams, and focus on one sport, year-round. However, there is research to remind us of the benefits of playing multiple sports for children.
Earlier this summer, more than a dozen faculty and staff members participated in an Edtech Team Bootcamp designed to prepare us to take and pass the Google Certified Educator Level 1 Exam.
My summer adventure actually started way back in December when we began planning the summer offerings for The ELI Lab.
