Our students’ foundation in technology includes understanding how it works and how to use it to change lives. Our technology supports innovative learning at all ages – from interactive whiteboard projectors in all classrooms, to iPad learning stations in our Montessori Preschool, and one-to-one student devices in Grades 1 through 8.
Throughout the month of March, second grade is focusing on Ireland as a unit across all subjects.
Students in grades seven and eight took a break from the norm to celebrate Pi Day.
Assistant Head of School Mr. Raymond Briscoe received the ACT K-12 Champion Award for his oversight and efforts to enhance of The Woods Academy’s curriculum, which focuses on entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation.
Our 8th grade Spanish students had the privilege of being introduced for the first time to the famous novel written by Miguel de Cervantes Don Quixote by Dr. Barbara Mujica, a Professor Emerita at Georgetown University.
