Our students’ foundation in technology includes understanding how it works and how to use it to change lives. Our technology supports innovative learning at all ages – from interactive whiteboard projectors in all classrooms, to iPad learning stations in our Montessori Preschool, and one-to-one student devices in Grades 1 through 8.
Seventh graders at The Woods are nearing the end of their Great Depression book clubs.
Our classes researched the nine planets, two dwarf planets, and the sun. They gathered numerous facts such as what satellites visited their planet, their diameter, distance from the sun, and other interesting facts.
Future engineers have spent their time building and designing robots, with the intent of participating in a "BattleBots" style competition at the end of the trimester.
Basketball, floor hockey, yoga, and volleyball keep our Mighty Owls busy during these cold winter months.
The Kindergarteners spent time exploring the concepts of absorption and evaporation using water jelly crystals.
