Our students’ foundation in technology includes understanding how it works and how to use it to change lives. Our technology supports innovative learning at all ages – from interactive whiteboard projectors in all classrooms, to iPad learning stations in our Montessori Preschool, and one-to-one student devices in Grades 1 through 8.
Throughout the school year, I traveled to a number of area schools to learn more about each one's science curriculum.
Beginning in Kindergarten, students attend weekly art classes with Mrs. Taverner where they develop an appreciation for what they can create and discover their inner artist.
At the end of the school year, we welcomed two Physical Education teachers from Lycée Rochambeau who taught the 6th and 7th-grade French students about the game of rugby
Last week, during the very first week of summer break, 11 students and three teachers spent our time at A Wider Circle completing various jobs, including sorting donated goods, testing appliances, basic cleaning, weeding the perimeter of the building, and more as part of the first annual Community Service Camp at The Woods.
