Our students’ foundation in technology includes understanding how it works and how to use it to change lives. Our technology supports innovative learning at all ages – from interactive whiteboard projectors in all classrooms, to iPad learning stations in our Montessori Preschool, and one-to-one student devices in Grades 1 through 8.
We all know that being physically active is good for our health. The CDC also reminds us that children who are physically active not only perform better academically but also have better behavior in the classroom.
Watching this play out over the last few days between these two "boys" just reiterated the unique and warm spirit at The Woods.
According to Harvard University’s Jacqueline Zeller’s research on student relationships, “The sense of safety and security afforded by close relationships provides children with a steady footing to support them through developmental and academic challenges.”
The perfect way to start the year and re-introduce the students to world language classes is to give them the freedom to work on a project during which they can be creative and have fun.
Sixth-grade French students recently made personal profiles for themselves to showcase their interests, hobbies, and backgrounds.
